Chinese instant soup salad with tuna – I guess some of you will find it outrageous to serve such unhealthy products, on the other hand though you need to answer the question: how often do you eat such soups? Personally, I don’t eat them very often. Taking into account the fact that most of our nowadays food is generally unhealthy, I think that eating this salad once in a blue moon doesn’t make much harm to our body. What’s more, everyone has their own will and I don’t force anyone to make this salad :) If, however, someone gets tempted to, see the recipe for Chinese instant soup with tuna below. I like the combination of tastes in the salad. Although, I’m fully aware that it would be far more healthier without Chinese noodles :) The noodles from Chinese instant soups could be replaced with e.g. spaghetti pasta. The taste would be slightly different though. This salad is a perfect dish for a New Year’s Eve party.
Ingredients:
- Vifon Chinese instant soups – 1 golden chicken and 1 hot curry chicken
- 2 cans of tuna in chunks in oil
- 1 medium Chinese cabbage
- 1 can of canned maize
- 1 big fresh cucumber
- 2 red peppers
- 4 heaped tablespoons mayo
- 3 heaped tablespoons hot ketchup
- 1 small bunch of chives
Preparation:
- Crush finely noodles from the Chinese soups, add dry ingredients from the package (curry seasoning + golden chicken seasoning), pour it with 100ml of boiling water and cover it with a lid for a few minutes, so that the noodles get swollen a little bit.
- Carefully drain the maize and the tuna from pickle.
- Shred the Chinese cabbage into quite small pieces.
- Dice the pepper and the cucumber.
- Shred finely the bunch of chives.
- Put all the in ingredients into a bowl, add 4 heaped tablespoons of mayo and 3 heaped tablespoons of hot ketchup. Mix. Put it into the fridge to get the tastes melted into each other, and all the noodles get soften. Bon appétit!
